Our awesome grant review teams got together and recommended 10 finalists they thought really have what it takes to help people find stable and safe housing and lead thriving lives. Because of GiVERs' generosity, we had enough money to fully fund all of them, for a total of $71,500 in grants. As spring 2020 was an especially troubling and uncertain time, the A-Team decided to go ahead and deploy dollars to those 10 organizations on the front lines serving our most vulnerable neighbors.
Not only were we able to fund all 10 projects, but we had an extra $2,300 that the A-Team empowered GiVE 365 members to choose how to use. The membership overwhelmingly voted to donate the $2,300 to the
Mid-South COVID-19 Regional Response Fund to help our neighbors in need through
the unified community relief effort supporting organizations and those they serve impacted by the coronavirus crisis.
